JP Express Service, Inc Hiring for Dock Worker/Forklift operator at South Plainfield, NJ Full Time

We are currently looking for Full Time Dockworkers for our South Plainfield, New Jersey location. This is a Monday through Friday position and there are two different shifts available:

2nd shift hours are 6:00 pm to 4:00 am

3rd shift hours are 1:00 am to 11:00 am.

Requirements/Responsibilities; but are not limited to:

• Loading and or unloading commercial trailers of all sizes and straight trucks
• Experience in using hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts safely.
• Willingness to obtain certification of forklift usage-all necessary training will be provided by JP
• Ability to verify documentation and condition of freight to assure quality standards are achieved.
• Must be able to frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to occasionally lift and or move up to 90 pounds
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at the end of your shift
• Reliable
• Opening and Closing of all doors on the loading dock.
• Other duties as assigned
