IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR AN ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

Jorgensen Conveyor and Filtration Solutions has a great entry level opportunity for an Accounting Specialist to join our team! The ideal candidate must be organized, detailed oriented and have a passion to provide superior customer service.

Your Contribution to the Team includes:

• Ensure accuracy of invoices
• Submit all invoices for coding and approval
• Perform all data entry associated with Accounts Payable function
• Ensure all invoices are paid accurately and timely
• Print checks weekly
• Assist with month-end financial close
• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
• Distribution of annual 1099 forms
• Assists with additional projects as part of the Accounting Team
• Assists with Human Resources projects
• Provide front desk support including greeting visitors and answering and directing calls.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Associates Degree in accounting preferred
• 6-12 months of accounting experience
• Basic knowledge of MS-Word and MS-Excel software programs required
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles a plus
• High degree of numerical accuracy with data entry
• A friendly, positive, and professional demeanor
• A quick learner and motivated to develop new skills!!
