POSITION:
The Software Tester will write and maintain test cases, provide weekly updates on test progress/issues, manage and maintain test related documentation; log and update bugs via bug tracking software; perform testing such as functional and system testing, work on a full lifecycle of test tasks as defined by your line manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparing and writing test cases based on requirements

Performing manual testing
-
Documenting and communicating findings
-
Verification of defects and fixes
-
Building excellent working relationships with Development and the rest of the Test, department to ensure the highest possible quality.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Knowledge of the software lifecycle specifically those areas relating to Test
-
Familiarity with Defect tracking and test management software
-
Experience in web and cross browser testing
-
Experience with the Windows operating system
-
Experience of working in the payments sector, and more specifically a good working knowledge of Bacs is highly advantageous
-
Experience of Testing API’s is highly advantageous
-
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Experience of Agile/SCRUM/Kanban.
