Due to expansion, we currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Structured Finance Associate to join the JC Capital team dealing with project financing or leasing. Working closely with the EMEALA and APAC leader, you will collaborate with Johnson Controls sales teams to originate new finance transactions for customers on a global scale.

How you will do it

As Structured Finance Associate, working a remote/hybrid role, you will be responsible for

• Building relationships and work with sales teams and customers to secure projects using a variety of finance solutions.
• Successfully building projects by capturing project and customer credit information.
• Creating finance proposals, working with legal, tax and other teams to review terms and conditions and close finance transactions.
• Interact with bank partners and manage assignment of account receivables.
• Working on credit analysis for customers and projects when necessary.

What we look for

Required

Are you able to demonstrate the following?

• Strong financial skills, with experience in lending and/or leasing.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to deliver financial knowledge to sales and engineering colleagues with non-finance backgrounds.
• Ability to speak and write in English as well as French and/or Spanish.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; in particular Excel, Word and Outlook.

Preferred

We’d ideally love you to hold a bachelors’ degree in finance or accounting, but this isn’t crucial if you have experience. In addition to English, French and/or Spanish any other languages, especially German and/or Italian will be an advantage as will any experience in anti-money laundering.
