CPA Firm in Culver City is seeking an entry level accountant or CPA candidate with strong computer, excel and word skills. Preferred experience in a CPA firm environment. Responsibilities will include Federal and State Tax preparation, Bank Reconciliations, Payroll Tax Returns, Sales Tax Returns, W-2’s, 1099’s, financial statement preparation and tax return preparation. Ideal candidate must be able to work independently and manage multiple clients. The ideal candidate must be patient, cheerful, self-motivated, well organized, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Candidate must be detailed oriented and understanding the bookkeeping process from start to finish. Candidate must be a Team Player.

Job description will include:

Accounting and Bookkeeping duties using Quick books and Xero
Bank reconciliations
Sales tax
Payroll
Preparing Adjusting Journal Entries
Year end closing
Preparation of Financial Statements
Tax Return preparation using Lacerte
Light office duties if required
