John Howard Society of Thunder Bay Hiring for Client Services Support Worker at Thunder Bay, ON Full Time

The John Howard Society is seeking to immediately fill the full-time (contract) Client Services Support Worker position, on a temporary basis to assist with client services and operations within the JHS Residence. This position will support various program areas and work very closely with the JHS Case Management Team as well as the Client Services Manager.

This position will be responsible for following specific protocols and procedures in order to provide residents access to the JHS Residence.

This position will be responsible for monitoring and providing general oversight of operations within the JHS Residence.

This position will be required to submit reports as well accurately record shift details in a communication log.

This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills.

Previous experience in supervision or security services is an asset.

Skills in communication, conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques is an asset.

This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
