Seeking a self-motivated, reliable individual for an accountant position with a boutique CPA firm located in the Galleria area. Responsibilities include: preparation of individual, corporate partnership, trust tax returns, foreign returns, and complex tax issues. Other duties include special projects involving tax audits by taxing authorities, prepare tax protests and tax research and complex tax issues, and balance sheet reconciliations. Ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years experience working on financial statements, federal income tax returns and tax issues. Public accounting experience and CPA certificate preferred but not required. Offers a competitive salary in the range of $125,000 to $150,000 and 401(k) Plan and health insurance program, with great benefits.
