Your Responsibilities:

As a Product Engineer for Global Crop Harvesting in Moline, IL you will be working on Harvester systems aimed to feed and clothe the world. In this position you will be part of the CPS (Combine Production Support) team focusing on combine and front end equipment products. In addition, you will:

• Possess technical ownership of complex components, assemblies, and/or small sub systems design
• Collaborate with cross functional team members to implement continuous improvement for Combine and Front end Equipment (FEE)
• Analyze data collected on floor and provide insights from that data to resolve manufacturing issues
• Write clear and detailed s about investigation and solution with conclusions/recommendations and present to management and cross functional team
• Create and maintain relationships within the global team to include other vehicle units, global factories, and technicians
• Provide work direction for contract, contingent, remote, or other team resources

• Ability to communicate with individuals or teams of diverse backgrounds or disciplines
• Demonstrate problem-solving skill set
• Work across disciplines to understand customer requirements and ideate customer solutions

• Work with Module team to validate solutions

What Makes You Stand Out:

• Functional knowledge of combine chassis, separator, cleaning shoe, feederhouse, residue, and engine deck design areas
• Cross functional work experience in areas such as manufacturing, customer support, supply management, and operations
• Six Sigma certified
• Experience working on a farm
• Triz (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving)experience
• Interest in mentoring new employees on the team
• 3 or more years of work experience in combine manufacturing

Education:

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelors in Engineering and or Technical degree certifications
