Director of Talent Acquisition Job Description

Scope of Work-

As the Director of Talent and Development, you will support internal strategies and oversee policies, procedures, processes, and programs in all aspects of Talent and Development. This role fulfills multiple strategic roles that ensure consistent levels of workforce talent that contribute to Jogan Health’s overall success.

As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will lead and grow a team of recruiters responsible for internal corporate hiring. This role will also serve as a strategic partner to the company’s additional initiatives in contracted healthcare staffing and the Locum Tenens division of physician recruitment.

A successful candidate for this role will be an experienced, agile, results-oriented, collaborative leader who is excited to create nimbly and see the impact of their work on our organization.

Roles and Responsibilities-

• Develop and meet high-volume recruiting needs at the regional and local levels that emphasize Jogan Health’s vision and differentiate us in the healthcare space.
• Develop and implement a strategy for sourcing qualified candidates from an array of methods and venues, including referrals, job boards, networks, and targeted campaigns.
• Execute the full life cycle recruiting process, including preparing job descriptions, conducting candidate screening, scheduling interviews, and supporting onboarding activities and trainings.
• Implement and manage our applicant tracking system.
• Develop, plan, and manage the talent acquisition department budget.
• Establish and maintain a culture of excellence and develop clear objectives for talent acquisition.
• Build scalable talent and development programs capable of growing with the organization.
• Provide knowledge and direct experience with development of competitive talent programs, initiatives and best practices for leader and professional development, inclusion, diversity and equity, top/critical talent identification, succession planning, employee engagement, and performance management.
• Provide salary guidance and related details to hiring managers.
• Serve as a “sounding board” and participate in the brainstorming for upcoming or anticipated new locations in all recruiting related areas.

Required Skills and Experience-

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline from an accredited institution is required.
• Minimum 5 years work experience in a Talent Acquisition/Executive or Leadership Recruitment role.
• Skilled at negotiation, presentation, and execution.
• Proven experience leading and developing a high performing talent acquisition team in a fast-paced, environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management and collaborate cross-functionally to establish trust, respect, competence, and confidence on a national platform.
• Workforce and succession planning experience preferred.
• Must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who is enthusiastic, energetic and personable. Experience in fast-paced, hyper-growth startup environments is a plus.
• Proficient at using software and leveraging technology for talent acquisition processes.
• A thorough understanding of state and federal legal processes, requirements, and legislation.

Salary Range- $110,000-$125,000/Year
