Jobwise Hiring for Regional HR Advisor at North West Full Time

We’re on the hunt for a Regional HR Advisor to join a leading logistics group operating within the UK Transport, warehouse, and fulfilment sector. You will be providing HR support and advise for employees and managers for a minimum of seven sites whilst delivering the business values.

As the role is regional you will be based across the Northwest and expected to go to different sites for when required. Your own transport is essential for the role.

What will you be doing as a HR Advisor?

• Provide day to day support and advise to employees and managers on all HR related issues by referring to current policies and procedures and evaluating the problems to safeguard compliance with employment legislation and to mitigate any risks to the Company.
• Employee consultation procedures
• Work with the HR and L&D Manager and senior management team to implement the Learning and Development strategic plan to create a workforce with the relevant skill set, where potential is being developed and effective succession plans are in place.
• Supporting the HR Business Partners to provide an effective and Efficient service
• Assisting with implementation of changes.
• Work collaboratively with your Regional HR Manager and HR Advisor colleagues to priorities workload to deliver an efficient and effective service across the northern region and to meet customer expectations.
• Building and maintaining relationships and communication to adhere to ER practices and other HR activity
• Work with the HR and L&D Manager to encourage managers to recruit apprentices where appropriate and attend local schools and college recruitment fairs and events to promote the Company and Group within the local community and to address skill shortages and improve succession plans.
• Support departmental mangers with staffing levels through coordinating the recruitment and selection process and working alongside Group Recruitment to make certain that the right people are in the right jobs at the right time.
• Travel to Company locations when required.

• We’re looking for a self-sufficient and proactive individual.
• Continued up to date knowledge of employment legislation and ACAS best practice.
• Supporting a management team and employees with adhering to employment legislation.
• Completed or studying towards a HR qualification is desirable i.e., CIPD
• Experience within HR Advisor role is essential.
• A driving licence and your own transport is essential.
• Employment relations experience is essential.
• We’re looking for a confident and relationship building individual.
• Experience in supporting a management team and employees with adhering to employment legislation preferably in a transport or warehousing industry
• Problem solving skills.
• Utilising a HR Management system and creating statistical reporting.
• Transport & Warehousing industry knowledge is desirable.
