We are currently seeking a Senior QA Analyst (HARDWARE/SOFTWARE testing) for Traffic Logix Radar Speed Signs and new products with a desire for a Leading Role!

We consider candidates from Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area who are ready to work from the office in Montreal!

IT IS NOT QA AUTOMATION POSITION!

Key Responsibilities and Tasks will include:

* Hardware, Firmware, Desktop, and Web application analysis

• Work with documentation, creating analysis plans/cases/scenarios

• Provide different levels and types of analysis (smoke, functionality, regression, performance etc.)

• Analysis of the issues from the Support team

• Provide assistance to QA Lab (carrying materials, installations, troubleshooting)

* Occasionally working outside of the office too!

Required Skill-Set and Experience:

* Experience as QA engineer or/and QA Analyst from 5 years IS A MUST!

* * Experience in Hardware/Electronics testing!!!*

• Understanding of QA processes and Software Development Life Cycle

• Experience with test/analysis plans & test/analysis case development is essential

• Understanding of networking, HTTP/HTTPS protocols

• Knowledge of database technology, in particular, SQL is a strong asset

• Experience with Linux systems

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• _ English, written and spoken_

• Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Electronics or Computer Science

• Accurate, detailed-oriented, capable of prioritizing work and multi-tasking skills

• Solid problem solving and troubleshooting abilities

Salary: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
