We are seeking a Contract IT Help Desk Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. As a Contract IT Help Desk Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees and ensuring that all IT issues are resolved in a timely manner. This is a contract position with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to employees in the Manufacturing industry
• Troubleshoot computer and network issues
• Install and configure software and hardware
• Respond to help desk tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Provide training to employees on IT-related topics
• Maintain and update IT documentation and inventory
• Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth operations
• Participate in IT projects as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field
• Experience with Manufacturing industry IT support is Mandatory
• Strong knowledge of computer troubleshooting and technical support
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with help desk support and ticketing systems
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field is preferred
