Bookkeeping / Accounting (1 WFH day per week)

As Bookkeeping and Accounting Specialist, your job duties and responsibilities will include:

• Joining a local public accounting firm
• Receiving complete training
• Providing bookkeeping, payroll and accounting services to the firm’s clientele
• Setting-up new clients in QuickBooks
• Entering and processing cash receipts and disbursements
• Learning to code bank and credit card transactions
• Creating journal entries
• Reconciling accounts
• Preparing financial statements
• Entering and processing payroll
• Maintaining manual and electronic file systems
• Handling special projects
• Performing other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

• At least 2 years of Accounting or Bookkeeping experience

With:

• QuickBooks Software experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Accurate Data Entry skills
• A High School Diploma or Equivalent

Pluses:

• +++ An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree

Pay: Up to $55,000.00 per year
