Accounting Associate (w/ Bachelor’s)

Up to $80,000 to start plus bonus and full benefits

As Accounting Associate, you will:

• Receive complete training
• Join a growing CPA firm
• Once training is complete, be assigned a group of small and medium sized clients
• Learn to provide accounting support and tax preparation and advisory services to your clients
• Prepare financial statements and working papers
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Produce routine and special reports
• Conduct routine and special analysis
• Administer tax preparation processes
• Seek out cost savings and efficiencies wherever possible
• Answer client questions and inquiries
• Handle special projects
• Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

• At least 2 years of Accounting experience
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar

With:

• QuickBooks proficiency
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Pluses:

• +++ Tax experience
• +++ Experience from a public accounting environment
• +++ Lacerte by Intuit proficiency
• +++ Experience with ANY Billing Software
• +++ CPA Designation
