Accounting Associate

$34.00 per hour plus company-sponsored benefits

As Accounting Associate, you will:

• Manage a variety of accounting functions for multiple small to mid-sized firms
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger accounts
• Prepare quarterly payroll tax reporting
• Initiate all required payroll tax deposits
• Handle sales tax reporting
• Prepare individual and corporate income tax returns
• Manage multiple deadlines on both State and Federal filings
• Provide sound advice on various tax strategies for current and future client filings

The ideal candidate profile will possess the following:

• At least 1 year of Accounting experience
• Accounting experience from a Public Accounting environment

With:

• Tax Preparation experience
• Experience preparing income tax returns for individuals and small to mid-size companies- Experience preparing payroll tax reporting and deposits
• Experience with sales tax reporting
• Experience with both Federal and multi-state returns

Pluses:

• +++ Any degrees in Accounting or Finance
• +++ Current CPA designation
