Accounting Assistant and Payroll Processor

As Accounting Assistant and Payroll Processor, you will:

• Support accounting operations
• Handle both Accounts Payable and Payroll Processing
• Administer accounting software
• Handle AP for separate entities and vendors
• Receive vendor/supplier invoices
• Review purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and additional charges
• Enter, process and apply payments to supplier accounts
• Prepare and distribute payments
• Make Journal and General Ledger entries
• Conduct post payment account reconciliations
• Review timekeeping data
• Enter and process payroll runs
• Administer changes and adjustments as necessary
• Facilitate direct deposits
• Process wage garnishments and withholdings
• Obtain authorizations and distribute payments
• Serve as a resource for suppliers and employees

Up to 70,000 to start plus full company-sponsored benefits

An ideal candidate profile will include:

• At least 1 year of Payroll Processing experience
• At least 1 year of General Accounting, Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, Billing/Invoicing or similar experience

With:

• Experience with any Accounting Software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Accurate Data Entry skills
• A High School Diploma or Equivalent

Pluses:

• +++ An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
