JN Bentley Hiring for Accounts Payable Clerk Job at Skipton, England Full Time

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our busy Finance team. We encourage agile working but will anticipate 1-2 days per week to be based in our Skipton Head Office.

We are looking for candidates to work on a full time basis, over 5 days.

Responsibilities will include:

• Processing high volumes of Supplier invoices;
• Ensuring credits are received for discrepancies agreed;
• Reconciliation of Supplier Statements;
• Query Resolution;
• Reviewing aged queries and escalating issues appropriately;
• Liaising with suppliers;
• Providing cover where necessary, in times of high workload and annual leave.

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience

• you will have experience of working in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable procedures, excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail is required.
• Ability to work accurately and to achieve deadlines is a must.
• Experience of working on an ERP with system based GRN/order matching is an advantage.
• Experience in the construction sector is desirable but not required.
