ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK

JMC Properties Inc. is a well-established real estate firm in the New Castle County area. The firm has interests in both the commercial and residential markets. While the construction and sale of residential housing had been a major part of the business; in recent years the company has put an emphasis on the construction of rental units particularly in the commercial markets.

An accounts payable bookkeeper will possess a skill set which includes the following

• A basic knowledge of Excel workbooks

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and distribute vendor invoices for approval.
• Enter approved invoices into our computer system.
• Prepare accounts payable reports for review and payment approval.
• Payment processing and mailing vendor payments.
• Maintaining the accounts payable files in a timely manner.
• Maintaining positive relationships with our vendors.
• Provide support to other departments on an as needed basis which may include the entry of accounts receivable payments from our tenants, the preparation and mailing of quarterly invoices, the research and reporting on accounting and other issues which may arise.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour
