JMC Automation in Packaging Hiring for Production Administration at Burlington, ON Full Time

JMC is a manufacturer of packaging equipment and a design solutions provider of packaging automation. We have been in operation since the early 1960’s. Our equipment is found through out the world bagging agricultural produce, ice and various other products. We have strong Brand recognition with an excellent reputation.

We are looking for two strong Production Administration to join our team at our Burlington location. The core accountabilities for this role include managing and developing inventory control system, sharing information, managing resources and service quality.

Roles and Essential Responsibilities:

• Able to perform Data Entry and Utilize the ERP Information system in order to fully assist in the management of physical inventory the following business data:
• Ensure that Materials Management information systems and all associated libraries are updated continuously.
• Maintain and update all Purchase Orders the company has with all its vendors. Create, Manage and track all Vendor Purchase orders; entry, review, release, etc.
• Maintain, update and distribute all internal Materials Management Reports.
• Manage and report on Cycle counting and physical inventory
• Automating processing of all orders; scanning & electronic file storage
• Support and instrumental to cycle counting in the facility
• Systemize a transparent delivery status process for all incoming materials
• Instrumental in understanding and supporting all physical inventory activities
• Maintain accuracy of Inventory in ERP system
• Monitor and adjust MIN/MAX inventory levels
• Continuous improvement with respect to timely shipping, inventory control and smooth flow of order procedures
• Assisting in shipping and receiving.

Qualifications:

• Relevant post-secondary education preferred (purchasing, business, logistics)
• 5+ years background in related business setting
• Must have High computer literacy and comfort level with new systems and technology. ERP experience required. Job Boss ERP an asset.
• Previous experience in similar manufacturing environment an asset.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills with the ability to communicate at all levels; high level of positive interpersonal skills
• High energy; fast paced efforts required while maintaining accuracy
• Assertive self-starter with attention to detail, requiring minimal supervision
• Demonstrated ability to promote a team-based work environment which places a high degree of emphasis on accountability for customer service levels, quality, inventory management, cost reduction, Good Manufacturing Practices and safety compliance
• Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities in a process/production environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
