Responsibilities:

• Establishing, review and maintain new Human Resources Policies/Procedures
• Utilisation of the company’s HR Platform – People HR, being the lead system Administrator
• Managing the company’s onboarding procedure and compliance
• Preparation of employment and self-employment contracts
• Preparation of a staff handbook to include key policies and procedures
• Creation of the online HR application and support with implementation
• Support on the HR advice/ Customer service helpline when needed
• Assisting with internal recruitment, training, and HR
• Ensure optimum staffing at all times and monitor turnover, sickness and absences and performance, liaising accordingly to all Management department
• Provide performance management guidance to Managers including appraisals, counselling, development and disciplinary actions and other HR issues as they arise.
• Organise the personal appraisals of the Senior Management Team to include Personal Development Plans.
• Ensure all employee records are up to date and properly maintained by Administrators
• Monitor pay and remuneration packages of all staff and advise accordingly
• Support strategic Objectives as directed by the MD and Senior Leadership Team
• Management and Maintain a record of all employee’s annual leave and ensure Line management have authorised prior to approval.
• All general HR & General administration tasks as required by the business.

Essential Professional Qualities

• Extensive Administration experience
• High degree of literacy
• Either qualified or working towards CIPD level 3 or 5
• Excellent IT skills
• Excellent oral and written Communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Proven track record of driving change in business.
• Operates to the highest professional and personal standards.
• Evidence of team working
