The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for planning, implementing and directing the sales activities of the company to achieve sales goals and targets through a team of sales coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Recruit sales and customer service coordinators; implement sales orientation and training programs.
• Manage assigned sales staff and assist with skills development, account strategies, territory planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
• Develop and increase sales revenue to meet assigned targets.
• Act as a resource to sales staff in contract opportunities and proposals.
• Assist sales staff with pricing, closing the sales and developing sales plans for accounts.
• Attend trade shows.
• Coordinate and assist in leading sales meetings.
• Maintain current knowledge of products.
• Monitor competitive activity and develop new methods to capture and retain customers.
• Answer questions from customers and resolves complaints.
• Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; Sales and Marketing, or related field and five (5) years of sales management experience in the building materials industry, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
