What this opportunity involves:
We are looking for a Finance professional to join our Sydney team as a Senior Finance Analyst for an aviation portfolio.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be overall responsible in providing comprehensive financial analysis and reporting services with a focus on continuous improvement, maintain and adhere to governance and controls while ensuring KPI, financial and other targets are achieved.

This is a 6-month maternity cover fixed-term contract with possibility of an extension.

An overview of the role:
Produce and present weekly Facility Management (FM) cost tracker to both JLL and the Client

Produce monthly actual and year to date analysis and commentary compared to budget and forecast

Prepare monthly and ad-hoc FM and other Property-related reporting

Support monthly accrual process (not posting)

Manage the budgeting process including setting assumptions, analysis of outputs and coordinating information flow within JLL and to the Client

Periodic forecast review and analysis

Handle ad hoc queries from operations and operations teams as well as from the Client as required.

Ensure compliance with regulatory, JLL and client policies

Ongoing identification and implementation of reporting, systems, processes and control improvements

Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements and client contractual obligations

Support the finance and leadership teams in achieving all relevant KPI’s throughout the term of the Contract

Tertiary education in Accounting / Finance

Achievement or near completion of professional qualifications (CPA / CA) will be highly regarded

Prior experience in Property / Real Estate industry with understanding of FM scope contracts will be an added advantage

Solid interpersonal and relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to manage diverse range of stakeholders

Sound written and oral communication skills, and the capacity to deal with ambiguity and complex problems

A good eye for detail

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Demonstrated ability to prioritise work within tight deadlines

Sound proficiency in Excel, analytical and reporting skills (including commentary)
