What this opportunity involves:
An opportunity has arisen for Finance professionals to take their next step in their career and join us as our Finance Manager.

Leveraging on your extensive experience in performance reporting and business processes, as Finance Manager, your key role will be to drive successful delivery of the financial services under key Corporate Business contracts and facilities management on demand (FMOD).

You will contribute to the development and maintenance of superior client service delivery culture within the team.

This role will be based in JLL’s corporate office in Melbourne or Sydney CBD.

What this role involves:
Own and manage the operational finance function, profitability and client deliverables associated with Corporate Business contracts.

Manage senior client and finance relationships and partner with the Group Account Director

Oversight of offshore finance service centre and associated AP/AR function for areas under responsibility

Support account teams in managing Contract Variations and Negotiations including contract interpretation and compliance covering amendments, scope management, savings glide paths, reporting and invoicing.

Monitor the profitability of accounts and flag risks / opportunities on a timely basis.

Maintain JD Edwards general ledger and ensure appropriate controls are being monitored.

Monitor cost recoverability and impact on financial performance

Support, encourage and drive the pursuit of continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives.

Manage and delivery key FMOD efficiency projects

Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for the client as well as for JLL, including for FMOD

Ensure all account staff are appropriately trained in finance systems and continuously supported for ongoing improvement.

Develop, update, implement and maintain the procedures, processes and management systems required to ensure astute financial management of the services

Management of vendor payment process.

Ensure that all financial accounting and reporting is audit worthy; minimise adverse audit findings in relation to financial systems and/or processes

Support the team in achieving all relevant KPI’s throughout the term of the Contract.

Manage JLL invoicing and reporting deliverables, including review / approval of invoicing, intersegment charges for placements and inspectors, FMOD monthly reporting and quarterly inspections reporting, corporate accruals, casual labour allocations and cost recovery

Ensure hurdle margin is managed closely within FMOD, flag risk where there are potential impacts.

Support the FMOD team with finance resourcing allocation and pricing

Tertiary education in Accounting, Finance or equivalent

Achievement of professional qualifications (CA or CPA) will be highly regarded

At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role or capacity

Solid proficiency in Excel

Strong analytical skills and a sound understanding of IT systems

Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with ability to build, foster successful relationships with stakeholders

Prior experience in the Real Estate / Property industry will be an added advantage

Prior people management experience is highly desirable
