What this opportunity involves:
We are seeking for a Finance professional to join us as our next Finance Administrator for a shopping centre located in Melbourne’s affluent inner suburb.

As the Finance Administrator, you will aim to ensure the property accounts are prepared and verified to agreed standards and also assist in providing finance and office administration support to the Centre’s management team.

You will have the opportunity to work with the landlord and tenants on asset in Toorak, with our National Finance team in JLL’s corporate office in Melbourne CBD as well as the flexibility to work from home.

A snapshot of your role:
High volume processing of accounts payable invoices which includes raising of Purchase Orders & coding of the invoices according to the budget in our real estate accounting system (MRI).

Timely supplier/vendor reconciliation and handling their queries.

Daily identification of rental and deposits payments on bank statement and advising outshore Accounts Receivable team of these payments.

Management of Rental Estate Deposits (RED)

Assist in the collection of monthly sales figures, annual audited sales turnover statements and preparation of month sales report for monthly management reports

The management and collection of Public Liability insurance from tenants

Processing of corporate office expense invoices in our corporate accounting system (PeopleSoft)

Assist in payment and raising monthly corporate office recharges tax invoices

Arranging of directly recharged expenses to be recharged to the tenants.

Monthly meter reading on-site if required or to liaise with on-site cleaner on meter reading.

Assisting the Portfolio Accountant and Finance Manager on Lease Administration, annual outgoings audits & annual budgets.

Proven work experience in Accounts Payables and office administration support

Sound basic proficiency in Excel

Highly organized with demonstrated ability to prioritize tight deadlines and conflicting priorities

Sound communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders

High attention to detail with the ability to adapt to numerous work processes and systems

Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively with little supervision

Experience with MRI system will be highly regarded, but not essential
