What this opportunity involves:
Based on account in Melbourne CBD, we are looking for an energetic Finance professional to join us as our Finance Accounting Manager.

Reporting into the Finance Director, you will provide an oversight of offshore AP/AR and Assistant Accountant and the ongoing identification and implementation of process and control improvements including across business streams.

What this role involves:
Stakeholder management and engagement including support of Internal and External clients

Ensure compliance with regulatory, JLL and client policies

Maintained of process and procedure documents (SOPs)

Management of client funding process and key ownership of all payment run process (AP) including rent roll and vendor payment runs

Oversight and management of Assistant Accountant and offshore team

Month end support in terms of financial controls, balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring all month end procedures are adhered to and deadlines met

Support the leadership team in achieving all relevant KPI’s throughout the term of the Contract

Ongoing identification and implementation of reporting, processes, and control improvements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.

Achievement or near completion of professional qualifications (CA / CPA) will be highly regarded

Over 5 years’ experience in budgeting, forecasting or modelling in a complex commercial environment

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex deliverables on a daily basis, inclusive of month end

Sound interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to liaise with all levels of stakeholders and clients alike

Sound written and oral communication skills, and the capacity to deal with ambiguity and complex problems

Experience in management of financial systems, including system monitoring and administration is desirable

Advanced proficiency of Excel, including sensitivity analysis and scenario modelling

Experience in property finance will be desirable, but not essential
