JLI, a contractor for FedEx ground, is now hiring Full and part time/weekend delivery drivers in the Palmetto, Florida area.

Work Hours: 7:30 am until deliveries are completed. We are a 7 day a week operation.

Schedules will vary.

ALL EMPLOYEES ARE REQUIRED TO WORK A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND DAY. There is the opportunity for overtime.

Pay is $140.00 – $150.00 per day (up to $1000+ per week)

Drivers will be operating out of the Palmetto, FL FedEx terminal located at : 11915 31st Terrace E, Palmetto, FL 34221

Drivers will be making deliveries to local residences and businesses in and throughout the surrounding areas.

Our drivers will be operating vehicles from Transit van-box trucks all the way up to P1000’s which are provided by the employer.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

CDL License is NOT required!!!

· Must have CLEAN background and motor vehicle record!

· MUST BE 21 Or Older!

· Drivers must have a positive mindset, be reliable, and be willing to help other team members out if needed. ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND SAFETY IS A MUST. Must also have reliable transportation to get to and from work.

• Minimum of 1 full year of verifiable business/commercial driving experience within the last 3 years (ex: package deliveries, Moving companies, landscaping etc.)
• at least 21 years of age
• have a valid Driver’s License
• have proof of authorization to work in the US
• must have or be capable of obtaining a 1- or 2-year DOT Medical Card (paid by FedEx)
• be drug free (pass immediate and random drug tests) paid by FedEx
• be in good physical condition and able to handle large and/or heavy packages up to 150 lbs. This is a very physically demanding job & could involve climbing stairs
• must fluently speak, read and understand English
• capable of operating a scanning device
• have a working smart phone & willing to use it on the job for GPS & communication

· have reliable transportation to and from the terminal

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

· Arrive at the FedEx Terminal to pick up Vehicle and packages.

· Loading and unloading packages from vehicle

· Delivering packages to the proper destination

· Scanning and logging packages.
