At JJ Learning Center, we are looking for a candidate who is willing to become part of a growing teaching team and passionate about teaching high school students in one or more of the following subjects:

• AP Calculus BC
• AP Biology
• AP Chemistry
• AP Physics
• AP US History
• AP World History

Job Details

• Flexible Schedule between Monday to Sunday 2 pm – 10 pm
• Interact and motivate students during instruction hour
• Evaluate and correct student work and homework
• Provide exceptional instruction/tutoring services to students
• Develop rapport with students
• Monitor and provide regular progress reports on your students
• Occasionally tutor small groups of high school students

Qualifications

• College Students (preferred)
• Must be able to work on-site at our office located in Irvine (required)
• Prior teaching / tutoring experience (preferred)
• Must pass our proficiency exam (required)
• Good time management, communication, organization skills

Compensation

• Hourly rate ranges from $25-35 per hour depending on experience and interview
