Jireh Consulting, LLC Hiring for Bookkeeper Job at Remote Full Time

Jireh Consulting, LLC, an accounting and bookkeeping company is looking for an experienced bookkeeper to assist with monthly and quarterly bookkeeping for its clients. The services are provided remotely using QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop (using a cloud server).

The position will begin as a short-term assignment with the potential to become permanent. The starting rate is $25/hour. Total hours per week will range between 10-15 hours.

The work includes:

• Monthly/quarter-end close which includes general ledger reconciliations (bank statement and other balance sheet accounts), the posting of accruals, amortization, depreciation, prepaid expenditures, etc.
• Inventory tracking (as needed)
• Preparation of quarterly sales taxes (as needed)
• Financial reporting – P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow Statements and other customized reports as needed
• Management/oversight of monthly accounting process for clients

The required software skills and knowledge:

• QuickBooks Accounting (Online and Desktop)
• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Word
• Experience with third-party eCommerce apps (Square, Shopify, etc.)

The organization also uses online-based applications for communication, file sharing, and project management.

While the above-mentioned items identify the tasks and necessary skills, the candidate should be detail-oriented and possess excellent communication and writing skills. The ability to collaborate within a team is necessary for the oversight of the monthly process. Accountability and professionalism are crucial to this remote-work environment.
