ASSOCIATE STRUCTURAL DIRECTOR – NUCLEAR

£70,000 plus many extra benefits

A superb opportunity has presented itself, with our client, a multidisciplinary practice of Architects, Engineers, Planners and Project Managers who work across the built and natural environment.

Your focus will be on the thriving Nuclear sector across the country, with a base in the South West.  The practice have an excellent track record in this sector and are keen to further develop this area of work in addition to work within Power Generating Assets and decommissioning needs.

For your part you will have excellent detailed design appreciation as well as providing an oversight during commissioning.  Your work will be centred around both Nuclear and Power, where you will strategically plan and deliver technical excellence on some sizeable projects, with client satisfaction being at the centre of it all.

Responsibility for leading with an appreciation of innovation and possessing a strong focus on ensuring relationships are cultivated well and that you are championing your specialism at every opportunity is key to this role.

We seek either a Structural/Civil Engineer who is both ambitious, as this role offers accelerated progression and who has the ability to drive projects of varying scales.

For this role you will have worked in the nuclear structures and/or infrastructure field with the ability to lead all aspects of design and significant experience of managing a sizeable teams as well as managing stakeholder management expectations.

Additionally you will be capable of winning work and supporting all disciplines.  As a natural leader you will be compassionate to your team members as well as offering guidance in respect to the progression of those on the Chartership journey.

There is an expectation that you will be commercially aware and have strong financial planning skills with a very driven approach to ensuring projects meet their budgets and delivery dates.
