Job purpose

The software engineer is responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications and features related to the live cloud-based flight-tracking environment. Requires collaboration with partner development staff, senior staff and management in regards to schedule and workflow to ensure effective communication between team members, product development, and other IT & research functional areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, in an Agile or Lean environment
• Bachelor?s degree in computer science, applied mathematics, or a related subject
• Ability to convey complex information in an easy-to-understand way
• Our tools: AWS services, Node.JS, Python, C#, React, Vue.JS, HAProxy, PostGresSQL, C
• Ability to support and respond to off-hours emergencies.
• AWS certifications preferred.
• A passion for aviation!
