What you will be doing…

Here at Jet2holidays, we’re all about delivering a VIP service for our customers each and every time. Our Messaging Operations Team are at the forefront of our online communication with our customers. We connect with customers across a range of digital platforms to explore and resolve their queries. This is a growing area of our Contact Centre with a real focus on delivering innovative and effective communication solutions.
As a Home Based Messaging Advisor, you will receive a wide range of written enquiries from our customers regarding their holiday or flight only bookings across our various live chat platforms. Our Messaging Team are there to deliver a VIP customer service across all messaging platforms, ensuring we communicate effectively with our customers and display a solution focused approach.

What are the role requirements?

  • It is essential our Home Based Messaging Advisors have the Technical knowledge and skills to deliver a fantastic experience, along with the ability to manage multiple customer conversations simultaneously.
  • The ability to use an effective tone of voice in your communications, to deliver a positive experience and offer first time resolution to our customers.
  • Previous experience of liaising with a wide variety of internal departments and 3rd party partners to ensure any amendments or updates are managed and communicated effectively.
This role is home based. Therefore you must have a suitable working space at home, along with a high speed broadband connection. This role is available on UK contract basis, therefore you must be based in the UK.

What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?

We are looking for individuals who share our passion for going above and beyond, delivering a VIP experience to our customers and colleagues.

You will have:

  • The ability to be self-motivated and work well independently is crucial.
  • Previous customer service experience or travel industry experience.
  • Experience resolving customer queries via messaging platforms, this is a necessity.

  • Keen attention to detail.
  • A calm approach and work well under pressure.

  • Excellent organisational     and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple customers situations effectively


This role is available to start on Monday 13th February 2023.

Our Messaging department is open 7 days a week, from 8am – 10pm Monday – Friday and 9am – 7:30pm Saturday & Sunday.
This role is available on a full time (40 hours per week) permanent contract and your working pattern will include working a fixed shift including working evenings and/or weekends within these opening hours, as these are our peak customer contact times. As with any customer focused role, there is an expectation that you are ready for your working shift in good time each day, in order to be present for our customers.
If you are successful, in joining us, we will provide a comprehensive virtual training and induction programme, in order to give you the tools to perform in the role well. As well as this we also provide ongoing training and coaching as part of our commitment to you.
