What you will be doing…
HR Coordinator, based at Holiday House in Leeds City Centre.
The HR Coordinator will report directly into the HR Projects Manager and will take responsibility for providing an efficient, accurate and timely administrative support service encompassing all areas of generalist HR across the business.
What will you do in the role?
Working as part of the HR Operations team, the HR Coordinator will be responsible for providing a front-line HR service to the whole business. The administrative processes that this role will be responsible for will include, but are not limited to;
Production of invite to fact finds, disciplinary, appeal and grievance meetings
Production of outcome letters and logging details
Note taking at basic fact finds and disciplinary hearings
Production of ad-hoc letters, templates, tables, and presentations
Collating updates and amending organisation charts monthly
Arranging fact find, disciplinary, appeal and grievance hearings, including coordinating diaries, booking venues, and confirming attendance
Inputting all ER activity and LTS actions into OpenHR and logging onto trackers
Typing up notes from ER meetings as required
Supporting the HR Projects Manager in respect to Benefits administration
Supporting the HR Operations team with production of reports, presentations, and collation of information
Actively respond to ad-hoc requests and undertake any other duties and ad-hoc project work as requested
The HR Coordinator will also support HR Advisors and HR Business Partners with regular HR processes such as Pay Review, Bonus, KPI collation, Movements and recruitment spreadsheets for seasonal hires
What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?
The HR Coordinator will be working in a busy operational and customer facing team, working closely with HR colleagues so the ideal skills and experience for the successful candidate will include;
Excellent administration skills
Experience working within a process driven/automated administrative environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills – with absolute attention to detail a must
Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure to achieve deadlines
Adaptability and flexibility to work within dynamic and changeable business
Extensive working knowledge/application of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Mail Merge, PowerPoint and database management)
Basic knowledge of HR best practice
