Hours: 9am – 6pm

The ideal candidate will bring billing experience, either from a CPA or law firm. They will be highly motivated, energetic, and dedicated to the role and the success of the company.

What you will be doing:

• Liaison between administrative staff, attorneys, and accounting department
• Review and edit time entries to ensure proper matter coding, billing rates and compliance with attorney/client/e-billing guidelines
• Run pre-bills and review with attorneys and administrative staff
• Edit and finalize invoices in SurePoint
• Generate time and billing reports and other client reports as necessary
• Monthly review of retainer accounts and timely application of same to client invoices
• Assist with Accounts Receivable projects
• Special projects as required

What experience we are looking for:

• Two + years of prior billing experience, specifically in a law or accounting firm
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance or Business discipline
• Strong analytical skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office
• Proficiency with billing and accounting systems, specifically with SurePoint/Rippe Kingston a plus
• Capable of multitasking and prioritizing
• Skilled in organizing workflow and using time efficiently
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail
• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and successfully adapts to changing priorities and work demands
• Ability to anticipate work needs and take the initiative to follow through with minimum direction
