As a Staff Engineer in the team, you will:
Work with cross-functional stakeholders across the company, align with the product and organizational objectives to deliver key results of new product initiatives

Define system architecture and technical roadmap for key product components

Develop scalable and performant products, give code reviews and technical feedback as a hands-on technical leader

Contribute across the entire product and technology stack, as well as collectively oversee the integrity of the codebase

A few more specifics about YOU:
B.S. degree in Computer Science or related discipline

5+ years of full-time software development experience. Experience in leading a mobile or product engineering team is a big plus

Solid understanding of performance implications and scalability of code

Keenness for writing good, meaningful tests and maintaining thorough test coverage

Experience with large, complex codebases and know how to maintain them

Proficient with modern web application development with knowledge of JS ecosystems and open source web frameworks is a plus (e.g. NodeJS / React / GraphQL / PostgreSQL / Redshift / Redis / Kubernetes)

Knowledge of good practices, preferred design patterns, and writing idiomatic Javascript code is a plus
