Core responsibilities

• To drive, share and represent our Employer Brand positively and professionally, with great energy and enthusiasm in a fast-moving, difficult to hire, labour market. Responsible for driving greater use of social media to build our reputation and build a talent pipeline, building rapport and networks with potential future talent thereby improving attraction and retention in the business – including LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Careers pages on Website etc. Close working relationship with Marketing colleagues to align messaging and collateral.
• Position TAS as an internal trusted adviser and guide to colleagues at all levels, in particular relieving current senior-level hiring managers of the process and relationships.
• Develop specific TA strategies for each area of the business to fill vacancies and build a talent pipeline, with a focus and emphasis on direct sourcing.
• Position and manage commercially effective 3rd party relationships, including agencies, head-hunters and exec search partners. Establish a PSL with standard terms and reduce use over time, maintaining an effective and affordable balance between internal and external hiring.
• Maintain metrics and trackers (cost, time and quality of hires) and report regularly.
• Modern innovative thinking to address diversity and inclusion in hiring; and to tap into lesser-known talent pools to source.
• Work closely with the CPO as an integral part of the wider People Team to deliver an excellent, effective and joined-up service (i.e. offers, keeping warm and onboarding), whilst maintaining compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements for the hiring process.

Skills & Knowledge

• Experience of building a similar function in a hard-to-resource start up environments
• Previous experience of success and scale in challenging resourcing sectors
• Knowledge of accounting qualifications and sector would be ideal, but not essential
• Able to work under pressure and at pace
• Strong professional interpersonal skills; able to build relationships and credibility
• Well developed writing skills, strong excel and IT skills (MI reporting and ATS management)
