Accounting Manager / Assistant Controller Opportunity in Denver, CO (100% Remote)

Jefferson Wells is seeking a strong Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller for an immediate, remote opportunity with our client located in Denver, CO. Assistance is needed with financial close, reconciliations, analysis, financial statement preparation, and controls performance.

Successful applicants should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance-related major from an accredited college/university or foreign equivalent
• 7+ years’ accounting and finance experience
• Public company experience required
• Great Plains experience strongly preferred
• Extractive industries experience a plus
• Highly detail oriented and organized in work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal communication skills
