JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an Accountant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our Accounting Manager. As an Accounting Assistant, your responsibilities will include managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our internal databases, and reconciling invoices. If you have an Accounting degree and are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures, we’d like to meet you!

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs general accounting and other related duties in the accounting department.
• Set up new vendor accounts, verifies payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
• Assist with month end close.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card accounts monthly.
• Process employee expense reimbursement reports.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks software a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education and Experience:

• Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
• One to two years of accounting experience preferred.

Pay: $45,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
