They are currently looking to add a Business Development Manager to be an integral part of the team, identifying sales opportunities and managing relationships with key clients within the Commercial and Industrial space.

About the Role

• New Business Development, creating opportunities, customer visits, developing relationships, closing sales.
• Undertake direct sales by making initial contact of new customers and developing a prospect list that results in meeting sales targets.
• Attend meetings, seminars and conferences relevant to target market.
• Identify opportunities to upsell new products/services.
• Develop and submit responses to tender requests from customers.
• Keep abreast of current and upcoming changes in market conditions electricity spot pricing & futures pricing, changes in regulation etc.

About You

• Experience with an Energy Broker or Energy Retailer in a Business Development role.
• Large market electricity contract procurement experience.
• Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organsiation.
• Driven and eager individual with ability to develop pipeline of business through identifying opportunities, customer visits, relationship building.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• ‘Solution Selling’ specialist with proven experience in the B2B market.
• The ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player, likes working alongside others in a collaborative environment.
• Strong communication both written and verbal.
