Role Overview:

We are on the look-out for a Talent Acquisition Manager to help drive recruitment of our Head Office disciplines in Bury.

We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for their work and wants to think creatively about how they hire talent. You will be given the autonomy to lead the full hiring processes, partnering closely with hiring managers and developing the team to provide proactive sourcing, networking, and pipelining of future hires in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, grow and lead a team of Talent Acquisition colleagues specialising in Head Office disciplines.
• Conduct training and target setting (including appraisals) for all members of the team.
• Create a team environment with clear strategy, activity, operational and service standards.
• Organise and run training sessions in key disciplines across teams
• Demonstrate a track record of hiring and retaining colleagues
• Reinforce culture that supports company values, recognising and rewarding achievements and ultimately inspires everyone
• Work closely with the People Experience department to build the Employer Branding of the JD Group across acquisition processes including material for candidate attraction and engagement.
• Maintain our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and create and establish KPI’s for our Internal Talent Team, reporting back to our leadership on team progress.
• Be an advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, building this into our hiring process.
• Support the Early Careers and Apprenticeships Department with talent pipelining for entry level roles across business areas
• Work with Talent Business Partners and business areas to conduct resourcing requirement forecasts, evaluating headcount budget and researching market salary benchmarks across different specialisms globally to support and optimise recruitment successes.
• With the Head of Talent Acqusition, review agency performance and the PSL relating to your disciplines.
• Consistently strive to reduce agency fees within business areas

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Needed:

As well as being proactive, driven, and someone who can contribute to a positive team orientated environment this role requires someone who demonstrates:

• Excellent written, verbal and face to face communication skills
• Willingness to take an active role in continued company growth by proactively seeking to improve and develop processes, procedures, and initiatives.
• Experience using LinkedIn to recruit and attract top talent amongst other sources
• Proven experience/successful track record of success and growth in either an in-house talent role or in the recruitment agency sector.
• Strong people management experience including hiring, retention, coaching and development of recruitment consultants.
