JOB SUMMARY

The Logistics Manager will take a leadership role in ensuring adherence with all inbound and outbound international trade compliance requirements.

This key business leader is expected to lead efforts to improve efficiency and reduce logistics spending. It is critical that this leader exemplifies the values of transparency, respect, integrity and compliance and maintains an environment and expectation that adheres to these core values of our organization.

The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing company’s overall logistics strategy in order to maximize the process efficiency and savings.

In addition, this individual plays a crucial role in maintaining and developing relationships with inbound and outbound transportation providers.

SALARY

$120K – $125K commensurate with experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all logistics operations including inbound and outbound logistics.
• Develop efficient shipping and receiving procedures to meet global needs.
• Ensure adherence to international trade compliance regulations.
• Supervise logistics team, providing regular performance feedback.
• Ensure proper import / export licensing.
• Develop logistics and supply chain strategies for the company.
• Monitor logistics costs and strategize cost reductions.
• Integrate logistics operations with business systems and processes.
• Resolve problems and make decisions pertaining to logistics management.
• Ensure all operations comply with laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of inbound and outbound logistics experience
• Must have experience shipping and receiving globally
• Working knowledge of international trade compliance
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• C-TPAT or CPL certifications a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred; Supply Chain Management and / or MBA highly preferred
