Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition Recruiter is responsible for managing the full life-cycle recruitment process of JCC Chicago’s open positions. This individual will work closely with their program hiring managers, advising and coaching managers throughout the recruiting and hiring process. The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will be a part of a larger HR team focused on providing excellent levels of service to all JCC Chicago clients.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Manage full-cycle recruitment process
• Source qualified candidates, review resumes, pre-screen candidates, create interview plans and closing strategies while moving the interview process forward in a delightful and timely manner
• Build and maintain a quality pipeline of candidates through fostering long term relationships with candidates
• Work closely with hiring managers to build innovative talent sourcing strategies for existing open positions and to fill them in a timely manner
• Manage the employment cycle including completing paperwork regarding promotions and separation process

• Utilize research, phone calls, pipeline, and ATS to identify and persuasively present candidates for potential job offerings
• Maintain accountability of the recruiting process

Key Essential Job Duties/Physical Requirements:

• Repetitive movement of arms and hands to operate computer, keyboard and mouse.
• Ability to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to operate equipment such as phone, computer keyboard, calculator and standard office equipment.
• Vision: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations and assist in evacuation of building.

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of federal and respective state laws as well as relevant city ordinances.

Previous Experience:

• 2+ years Human Resources experience working within the disciplines of Recruiting required

Days/Hours/%Travel:

Office located in the Northside of Chicago (Montrose & Ravenswood) and accessible via the Metra and L train. Individual will travel to various JCC locations in the North Side of the City, Evanston and Skokie.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
