The Regional Human Resources Manager will assist the Global Human Resources Director in the region for recruiting and staffing, employee relations, and policy administration for the following locations: Bridgend, Wales; Heathrow, UK; and Madrid, Spain.
Responsibilities:
As a Regional Human Resources Manager your duties and responsibilities could involve:
Maintain employee records to ensure compliance with JBT and national guidelines, and all HR systems, including set up personnel files on new employees; maintenance of RCI metrics, terminations, promotions, review job descriptions for accuracy, appropriate MRA’s (Major Responsibility Areas) and candidate requirements
Assist with Disability claims and insures they are administered consistently throughout the business unit
Ensure recruiting, onboarding and new hire process are up to date, including posting all job openings, search for candidates who possess all minimum qualifications of the job, and provide new hire orientation according to HR standard procedures
Coordinate and execute activities including but not limited to job fairs onsite and at local colleges, service awards events, and employee activity committee
Work with Operations and other Departments to ensure new hires and leavers are captured correctly
Work together with payroll department in assisting and resolving pay issues and ensuring changes are correct
Complete monthly payroll audit
Participate in various continuous improvement initiatives and specific projects
Provide project support to the Global HR Director as requested
Good English skills with other languages being advantageous
Good safety practices; willing to speak up if presented with unsafe environments
Provide world class service to employees
Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion
Qualifications:
What we would expect to see from you:
Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field required
At least three (3) years of experience in a regional Human Resources role
Ability to evaluate and resolve problems independently.
Above average communication skills, written and verbal.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office products.
Bi-lingual (English-Spanish) is highly desired
