Position Summary:

A manufacturer of handbags and travel accessories is seeking a Studio Photographer to join their team on a temp to hire basis.

The Studio Photographer requires great photographic skills with a strong eye for detail, coupled with a good understanding of lighting techniques using Profoto equipment.

This role will consist of styling and photographing products for catalog and E-commerce (still photography), Photoshop editing of images, and all other photo studio needs.

The candidate will need to have extensive knowledge of Capture One Pro 21.

Daily Duties:

• Setup Canon 5D Mark IV camera and white balance.

• Prepping & styling the bags to be photographed; following the style guidelines set forth by the photography dept.

• Strong eye for detail, to ensure images are properly labeled with sku information with no typos, properly cropped, and products are shot correctly according to the set standards.

• Be able to switch out to different sets quickly (Front, ¾, Back, Inside, Mannequin Silo)

Requirements:

• Experienced studio photographer with an interest in product styling

• Photoshop, Capture One Pro 21 and photo editing skills

• Experience with Profoto lights and Acute Power Packs

• Strong organization and communication skills

• Self-starter / problem solver

• Flexibility, understanding that daily schedules can change very quickly, and must reprioritize items.

• Ability to move and pack boxes weighing upwards of 30 to 40 lbs.
