Title: Sales Executive
Company: Estate jewelry buyer in NYC specializing in buying and selling vintage and designer jewelry from around the world
Location: New York
The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving new business and developing relationships with clients, dealers, wholesale and retail accounts.
The ideal candidate will be part of the sales team and, reporting directly to the VP of Sales.
You:
Highly motivated individual, and a natural salesperson able to converse with all levels both internally and externally
Can foster authentic connections and relationships that sustain and deliver
Ability to network, think creatively, and open new business
Take leads to the end and are confident to – initiate, negotiate, and close deals
Maintain long-term relationships by providing superior customer service. You provide timely responses and exceed customer expectations.
Ability to act as a “personal shopper” and make recommendations based on customer requests
Manage showroom appointments with clients from set up to pulling product assortments and breakdown
Liaise with operations team to ensure all memos are executed, repair and shipment deadlines are met
Assist with logging and shooting iPhone images utilized for remote sales channels such as WhatsApp and Instagram
A self-motivated, organized person with high attention to detail. You proactively plan and structure your work.
Confident to work independently, highly professional, and possess a strong team mentality with a willingness to do work above and beyond to get the job done.
Ability to thrive in a rapid pace environment, multitask and excited to take on new challenges
Ability to absorb product knowledge across a wide range of categories
Willingness to learn and expand upon existing knowledge of fine jewelry in terms of quality and value
Requirements:
Must have an existing book of business
Flexible to conduct business travel as needed to support clients, trade conventions and trunk show events (within COVID-19 guidelines)
Takes direction well, fast learner, and possess superior follow through skills
Strong verbal and analytical skills with proficient use of excel
5+ years of experience in a fine jewelry sales role
Bachelor’s degree
