Under general supervision, the position is responsible for all driver recruiting efforts for those who apply and are directed to J.B. Hunt. Incumbent is also responsible for outward focused recruiting and screening potential drivers for all divisions. Responsible for selling J.B. Hunt’s compensation and benefits package to secure qualified drivers in order to provide them a Better Job. Better Life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage driver leads through inbound and outbound calls sourced by our internal advertising teams.
• Manage driver leads from computer databases by phone calls, e-mail, chat, and SMS.
• Maintain contact and track leads, applicants and candidates for current and future opportunities.
• Assist Onboarding and Background Verifications team with gathering necessary items from driver to expediate the hiring process; address other issues/problems within the process.
• Pre-qualify applicants based on minimum hiring requirements of J.B. Hunt and DOT; guide applicants through the pre-qualification and application process.
• Explain J.B. Hunt’s pay, benefits, and current opening to potential drivers.
• Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates and confirm level of interest throughout the hiring process.

This is a sales position with uncapped potential. Recruiters are currently averaging $70K per year with our top 20% earning an average of $115K.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED with 1-2 years combination of education, experience and training..

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
