JayJeffers, Inc Hiring for Bookkeeper Job at San Francisco, CA Full Time

JayJeffers, Inc., a successful residential interior design firm, seeks an extraordinary individual who would like to become a part of a great organization.

This person must have a good knowledge of bookkeeping, be well organized, proficient in QuickBooks, familiar with other accounting programs (Studio IT experience a huge plus but not necessary), word and excel. This person should also have experience with human resource matters in terms of payroll compliance, employment laws and benefit management. This person should be personable and able to interact with all types of people and act with discretion on employee matters.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage monthly reporting for both Design firm and separate retail store (Design firm on Studio IT. Retail on QuickBooks) – P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow, budget vs. actual, etc.
• Interact with CPA to insure accurate reporting, journal entries, tax payments, monthly and yearly closeouts.
• Monthly sales tax report
• Interact with outside payroll company.
• Occasional analysis and reporting requests from owner.
• Manage HR benefits – 401k, health insurance.
• Maintain employee handbook.
• Reconciliation of checking accounts and credit cards.

• Proficient in QuickBooks. Familiar with other accounting programs.
• HR experience.
• Full Time Availability

Knowledge of Studio Designer software or comparable is a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour
