Jasper Rose Hiring for Finance Manager Job at London, England Full Time

This is a truly unique and exciting opportunity for an ambitious Finance Manager to join an international, multi-million turnover architectural and urban design practice, based in Central London, on a permanent basis. You will be joining at a crucial time in the business as they look to appoint their first team member in Finance, this is a newly created role taking full ownership of Finance for the business.

Reporting to the CFO you’ll take full ownership of the day-to-day financial affairs of the business. This key individual will be able to suggest operational improvements, implement new reporting processes, and present financial reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.

Responsibilities will include:

• Full ownership for the accounting function across multiple cost centres including the preparation of management accounts
• Responsibility for the monthly and yearly financial statements, including explaining key variance analysis to the business
• Creating and reporting P&L forecasts and budgets to the CFO on a monthly basis
• Leading and owning the annual audit whilst liaising with auditors
• Suggesting updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing
• Managing and developing the internal accounts manager

The successful candidate will be a practice qualified accountant with 2+ years post qualification experience working in the professional services industry, preferably from an architectural practice. Experience in preparing statutory accounts with local GAAP and managing multiple cost centres is essential. Experience working with international entities and systems knowledge of Xero is desirable. With excellent communication and analytical skills, you will be a self-starter, who is equally excited and capable of stepping up to this hands-on role.
