Are you tired of the frustrations related with Corporate HealthCare? We are a private Family Medicine group seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! We provide excellent patient care so it is important for us to have a team of hard working professionals who enjoy the satisfaction that comes from knowing you make a difference every day! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. We work 10-hour shift which allows us to enjoy an extra day off during the week.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for medication authorizations
- Escort patients to exam rooms, take accurate vitals and intake information
- Pediatric immunizations and adult injections
- Set up and assist in sterile procedures
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
​Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years previous experience as a medical assistant
- Fluent in medical terminology and standard pharmacology
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Team player, also able to work independently
