Candidate – Successful National Specification Sales Manager or Regional Specification Sales Manager from within the heating or plumbing industry that has Managed sales teams selling through a Specification Sales Process into National Housebuilders and New Build Housing Developers and/or Social Housing via Local Authorities and Housing Associations.
The Position
This is a brand-new National Specification Sales Manager position that has been created due to unprecedented growth working for a Global Manufacturer of domestic heating, ventilation, plumbing and renewable heating systems. You will be responsible for the National Contract Framework Agreements with National Housebuilders and manage a National Team of Specification Sales Managers selling through a specification sales process into new build housing from cradle to grave. They specify into new build residential projects via National Housebuilders, regional house builders and developers, self-build construction providers, and also Social Housing via Local Authorities and Housing Associations. You and your team will offer an industry leading product portfolio of the latest in energy efficient and high-quality heating systems.
The Package
Experience Required
This is a highly specialist National Specification Sales Manager position leading a team of experienced and driven Specification Sales Managers covering the UK so you must have a successful Sales Management record Managing sales people ideally selling a specified product into new build housing, through a specification process via National Housebuilders, regional house builders and developers, self-build construction providers and Local Authorities and Housing Associations which might also include retrofit specifications as well as new housing. It will be of great interest but not essential if you have experience within the domestic plumbing, heating or renewables industry e.g. solar thermal, heat pumps, unvented hot water systems, hot water cylinders, valves, radiators or boilers. *Please still apply if you have the same Specification Sales Management profile of Managing a Team selling into New Build or Social Housing but selling other Specified Products e.g. civils, pipework, windows, kitchens, heating, controls, EV charge points, solar PV and battery energy storage etc.
