Hours are in office (Saint Peters, MO), M-F 7am-4pm (with afterhours sometimes being required)

Job Description / Responsibilities

Entering, scheduling, and coordinating full truckload shipments. The Logistics Coordinator will assist our CSR’s entering shipments into our TMS (transportation management system), posting the shipments onto load boards, taking inbound and making outbound calls and emails to cover shipments with approved partner carriers. Negotiating rates with carriers. Tracking and communicating updates on shipments while in transit. Collecting delivery paperwork and uploading it into our TMS system. The position of Logistics Coordinator/ JR. Freight Broker has the potential to be promoted to a full time CSR/Freight Broker within 6-12 months (a salaried position that also includes industry-leading bonus compensation). The goal for this position is to learn the job and industry requirements for 6-12 months under the wing of our management team and then progress into a full time Freight Broker / CSR role handling your own customers. That position will require cold calling / emailing potential customers so strong sales skills (people skills) or the ability to learn quickly are a must.

Experience and/or college degree is not required, but work ethic, a positive mindset / attitude, and the ability to work quickly are 1000% required. WE ARE LOOKING FOR GO GETTERS!
